What to do if you have concerns
Although we endeavour for perfection in everything we do, there are times when we may get it wrong. The important thing is to contact the school to discuss the concern as soon as possible. If not addressed these little worries can grow create great anxiety for families and negatively impact on the strong working relationship between school and home that we value immensely her at Botwell House Catholic Primary School.
Initially, contact your child's class teacher via Dojo to discuss your concern. They may wish to meet you or talk it through on the phone or via Teams.
Following this intervention, if you remain unsatisfied you can email the school office and ask to have a meeting with the 'team leader' letting them know that you have spoken to the class teacher so they can look into what has happened thus far.
If you are still satisfied with the scenario you can ask for a Senior leader such as an Assistant Head.
It is important to note that if initial attempts to clarify or resolve the issue are unsuccessful, and you remain dissatisfied then you can formalise your concern as a complaint. For guidance on how to do this please click (here), which will take you to the page with the complaints policy.
