About Us
Headteacher's Welcome
On behalf of our children, staff and Governors here at Botwell House Catholic Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our new website. We hope it gives you an insight into our school, possibly as a prospective family or a tool to support you as a current member of our community.
Our school is a thriving, effervescent multicultural community in the very heart of Hayes town centre. We value our diversity with the concrete knowledge that everyone equal in God's image but individually unique.
Such strong faith foundations are inherently understood due to our close relationship with God that is developed symbiotically with our Claretian neighbours and our wonderful church in the very active parish of The Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Botwell House Catholic Primary School is steeped in history dating back to 1931 when the school opened to 145 pupils with Nuns as their teachers.
Following the schools' conception, the nuns and the community soon grappled with the devastation of world war two and its legacy on education. Such a life changing scenario has not been seen until recently when life changed almost overnight with the COVID pandemic that we are still very much living through.
I joined the school and within two terms life and education was unrecognisable. This being said, I quickly saw the true depths of our community spirit and resilience as we faced challenge after challenge. We live out our mission
'Love one another as I have loved you'
We live this through our thoughts and actions via Care, Courtesy and Concern for all. The schools growth and continued oversubscribed nature is testament to its success within the Hayes community.
Such success has meant that we have continually grown with over 700 pupils today who benefit from our bespoke, broad and balanced and carefully sequenced curriculum that is coursing with the values of Jesus Christ.
We are fortunate to have such a talented and hard-working staff who have high aspirations for every child. Our staff provide an exceptional quality of care; guiding every child to reach their academic potential with a strong moral compass to enable them to be ambassadors for our school in readiness for the world ahead of them.
Cultural capital is integral to our curriculum so that the whole child progresses. We support this with a wide range of sporting, musical and creative arts opportunities that are always evolving to meet the interests/needs of our children.
Please feel free to contact the school if you need any information that you cannot find on our website.
Thank you for visiting
